Our Team

A dedicated staff of 65 professionals ensures that Hearthstone youth receive high quality daily care and individual attention. Our direct care staff are trained to provide a home environment in which youth can learn the values associated with belonging to a family. Our staff employ carefully-designed interventions and techniques to help every child understand and appreciate how his behavior impacts others, as well as the well-being of the “family” as a whole.

Our treatment staff support our direct care staff by providing clinical oversight and coordination of each youth’s individual treatment plan. They also facilitate connections with other community resources and the youth’s family of origin, as appropriate.

Hearthstone family care services are designed to assist youth in:

• developing feelings of safety and trust with the adults working on their behalf;
• acquiring life skills to improve personal interactions at home, at school, and in the community;
• improving self-confidence through positive living experiences;
• learning how to live successfully in a family environment; and
• utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired at Hearthstone to function effectively within the community and society.
